 Step 1: Unboxing the Printer

1.      Take out your printer from the cardboard box.

2.      Remove the wrapping material around it and inside the scanner lid.

3.      Check if there is any wrapping material, tapes etc. inside your ink cartridge, and sliding paper try and remove it.

4.      Take out the power cable, USB and other accessories you got with the printer. They might come in handy during installation.

Step 2: Connect with a Power source

1.      Take the power cable you got with the printer and make a connection between the power socket and the printer. Connect one end of the wire to the rear side of the printer and other to the power socket.

2.      Switch the power to the printer.

Step 4: Check the Ink Cartridges

Open the ink cartridge and hold it from the black plastic side. Install the black cartridge to the left slot and tri-colour cartridge to the right slot. Repeat the steps to fill the cartridge gently. 

Installing a Printer driver from 123.hp.com/setup

1.      Visit the URL 123.hp.com/setup

2.      Go to the printer menu, enter your printer’s model number in the search bar and click on Submit

3.      Select the operating system your computer has and the windows version you are currently using and Click on Update.

4.      Download the printer driver from the website.

5.      Double click the downloaded driver, Click and Run to install.

6.      Make sure your printer is connected with the network through a Wifi, wired network or a USB cable and your printer is all set to print.
